Assistant Professor of Geography and Environmental Systems

Urban ecologist, engaged in environmental and public science. Studies spiders as indicators of environmental issues and collaborates with communities to better understand their environments. Recently awarded an Activist-Scholar grant from the Antipode Foundation and a Science for Public Good grant from the Union of Concerned Scientists. Published “Connectivity Increases Trophic Subsidies in Fragmented Landscapes” in Ecology Letters.
