Research focus is on databases and data mining. Served as PI, Co-Pi or collaborator on 10 grants from NSF, NISF and DoEd, as well as industry and state agencies. Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Computational Models and Algorithms in Medicine. Member of the Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology Leadership Team.
