Associate Professor of Gender and Women’s Studies and Affiliate Associate Professor in the Language, Literacy and Culture Program.
Member of the Gender and Women’s Studies and Asian Studies Program advisory boards. Research focus is on social reproduction, transnationalism, the gendered effects of migration, and South Asian diasporas. Teaches courses on gender and globalization, feminism, and South Asia. Oral historian for the South Asian Oral History Project and co-author of Roots and Reflections: South Asians in the Pacific Northwest (2013).
